ABOUT US

We are located near Como, MS--one hour south of Memphis, TN and smack in the middle of the
Mississippi Flyway. Some of the best duck holes in the country are within a few hours--cypress
sloughs of Reelfoot Lake, the muck and mud of the Mississippi Delta, current and oxbows of the
Mississippi River--ending with world famous Stuttgart, Arkansas just to our west.

Our clients take their dogs and hunting quite seriously, and tend to look at their pets as members
of the family, rather than something to only be used during hunting season. I basically train your
dog the way you would if you had the time, equipment, training grounds, and experience to do so.
Social as well as hunting skills are taught, so the end result is a well-rounded retriever who is a
pleasure to be with hunting or in the home.

Considering dogs have differing personalities, much as we do, we mold our program to fit each
dog as an individual--we quickly determine each dog's strengths and weaknesses, and in training,
challenge and polish the strengths, while using clear-cut concepts, repetition, and success to
bring the weak points up to standard. We teach retrieving as a team sport, with the dog performing
the tasks, and you providing the guidance. Trust and respect are key factors in training, and we
earn that trust by always being fair in using corrections, and by only expecting work he is capable
of delivering. Expecting too much too soon from a dog can only lead to confusion and a lack of
confidence on his part--so training at each individual dog's pace is important to a quality end result.

We are a full-time retriever training facility, with no outside boarding, obedience classes, or litters of
pups to disrupt our daily routine. Our focus is quite simple--the training of a quality hunting retriever.
To insure this quality and to maintain the reputation Online Labs has worked to achieve, we can only
accept 15 dogs in our program at one time. Due to the limited spots available, we suggest reserving
one at least 3 months in advance.

From day one you are welcomed to visit and take part. The more you know about the training process,
the better you will be able to keep learned skills sharp in the off season.

While I do have field help from clients and my training group, all other aspects of your dog's stay here
is handled personally by me.

Thanks for stopping by...

While we could not cover every aspect of our training program, we hope these pages give you an
idea of what we're about here at Online Labs. If you have any questions or would like to schedule
an appointment to visit our facility, please feel free to call or send an e-mail.
